1. Can we know more about you? What sets you apart from the other photographers?

I take berry happy pictures. 

People photography is my passion. I am a professional photographer who happens to have a double-masters degree (MBA from NTU, and MSc in International Management from University of St Gallen, Switzerland). 

I picked up photography skills about sixteen years ago and have ten years of experience in wedding/event photography. My specialization is in people photography: fashion & commercial, bridal, journalistic wedding/event, child & family custom portraiture.  

I am using the 16-megapixel Canon 1Ds Mark II.

Due to my heavy schedule, there is a time lag in publishing on the web. Therefore, do arrange for an appointment to view my latest works.

2. Can you elaborate more on your family / children studio packages?

I will have a pre-discussion with you on the preferred style / image before your photo shoot. No makeup or outfit is provided. However, makeup artists can be arranged at additional cost. You can also bring a few outfits to change. 

Each photography session in the studio lasts about 30 minutes. More than enough exposures will be taken to be selected to the required number of images. After your photo shoot, we will take another 30 minutes to generate a preview CD of all good exposures (typically 80 to 120) taken during your session. You can bring the preview CD home for your selection at your own time. Images on the preview CD are in viewing resolution of 600x400 pixels, and not for printing. Alternatively, you can select the images on the spot. 

All selected images will be edited for color, contrast, saturation, cropping, and light facial touchups. A deposit of $180 is required on the day of your photo shoot, with the balance payable on collection of CD and prints/album. Payment terms are in cash.

3. Do you do the black & white journalistic style photography?

Yes. Check out my website and you'll find plenty of examples. As I focus on digital photography, all images are taken in color and converted to black & white during post-processing.

4. Can I check with you if your quotation on the website is for traditional or journalistic photography?  Or it is a mix?

My quotation is applicable for both as traditional and journalistic photography is a matter of style and I do not distinguish their pricing currently. It is for you to tell me which style you prefer.  

5. Your charges are a bit beyond my budget, is there any discount available?

I'm sorry, my published charges are the best value I can offer. I charge the same for all my clients to be fair. My pricing reflects the amount of work involved to achieve the quality of the images. 

If you can see the difference in artistry and quality in my pictures, you will know that my pricing is value for money.

6. Will we be able to view your portfolio?  If so, how can this be arranged?

7. If I chose to have albums, what type of album are you providing? If not, will the photos be arranged for me/what form will I receive the photos? 

In order to provide you with complete flexibility, you can choose from a range or get your own albums. I'll show you the samples when we meet up. You can also buy your own album if you prefer and I do the arrangement for you. 

8. What are your terms of payment for wedding photography? Do I need to place a deposit with you if I decide to engage you as my actual day photographer? If yes, how much & when should I place my deposit? What is the period of notification of confirmation that will be required from us?

I would prefer as early as possible so that I can plan my time, but it is up to you. It is only upon confirmation that I will not take other bookings on the same day. If you would like to confirm my engagement, I would need a deposit of half the amount of your package, or $300, whichever is lesser. You can pay the balance on the actual day of your wedding. Payment terms are in cash.   

9. Why BerryHappy Photography? It doesn’t sound very professional.
